Chanchal Teachers Training College provides essential academic and support facilities to ensure a conducive teaching-learning environment for trainees and staff, in accordance with statutory norms.
Library
The college has a well-equipped library with more than 6,000 books, covering education, pedagogy, psychology, methodology, and allied subjects.
The library also subscribes to 100+ journals and periodicals, along with newspapers and reference materials.
In addition, the library houses college-owned publications, project reports, dissertations, and academic resources for research and reference.
Laboratories
The college maintains laboratories as per NCTE norms to support practical work, teaching practice, and academic activities.
Laboratory facilities are regularly used by trainees under the guidance of faculty members.
Games and Sports
Facilities for games and sports activities are available in the college.
Students are encouraged to participate in indoor and outdoor games for physical fitness and overall development.
Fire Safety
The college has fire safety measures in place as per safety norms to ensure a safe and secure campus environment.
Medical Facility
Basic medical facilities and first-aid support are available in the college to address minor health issues and emergencies.
Hostel Facility
Hostel facility is not available at present.
Safety and Security
A safe and secure campus supported by CCTV surveillance and continuous monitoring to ensure the well being of all students and staff.

Our college continuously strives to improve its facilities in line with academic requirements and statutory guidelines.

Chanchal Teachers Training College has taken several initiatives to strengthen its academic and support infrastructure during the last quarter, in line with institutional needs and statutory guidelines.
During this period, the college has enhanced library resources by adding new books, journals, and college-owned academic publications to support teaching, learning, and research activities.
Basic medical and first-aid facilities have been further strengthened to ensure timely support for students and staff in case of minor health issues.
To enhance campus safety and security, additional CCTV cameras have been installed, fire extinguishers have been added, and fire safety arrangements have been reinforced. Necessary electrical wiring and MCB systems have also been upgraded in selected areas to improve safety and reliability.
The internal intercom / inter-calling system has been corrected and upgraded using modern technology to ensure smoother communication within the campus.
The college has also undertaken campus beautification and garden development work to improve the overall learning environment.
To support academic and administrative activities, the number of computers and printers has been increased. Additional tables and chairs have been provided, and fans and air-conditioning units have been installed in selected areas to improve comfort and functionality.
These additions reflect the institution’s continuous effort to improve facilities and provide a safe, supportive, and learner-friendly academic atmosphere.
The college regularly reviews its infrastructure and facilities and undertakes improvements based on academic requirements, safety standards, and quality norms.

Future Development Plan
Chanchal Teachers Training College is committed to continuous improvement of its infrastructure and facilities in line with academic needs, student strength, and statutory guidelines.
As part of its future development plan, the college proposes to introduce the following facilities in a phased manner, subject to feasibility and approval:
• Smart Classroom Facilities to further enhance ICT-enabled teaching-learning practices.
• Lift Facility, as and when required, to improve accessibility within the campus.
• Solar Energy System as a step towards promoting sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
• Additional Water Storage / Reservoir Facilities to ensure uninterrupted water supply.
The college regularly reviews its infrastructural requirements and undertakes development initiatives in a planned and systematic manner, keeping in view academic priorities and resource availability.
